Game 40, the Mets and Yankees have identical records, 21-19.
After all this dissing the Sox players tossed at him, I'm also happy with this little bit "With his major-league leading 13th Home Run, Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees gave the Mariners a 6-0 loss." I'm also happy with the classy way he seems to be handling it, just going to the plate and taking his swings, not trash-talking in the press about it.

Re: Whoda thunk it?
Thu, May 19, 2005 - 12:44 AMok, I love the inter-league play so we need to keep it rolling. Last year I was at the stadium for the 3 game series vs the Mets, well Friday was rained out so they played a double header on Sunday, which the Yanks won both! We have to beat the Mets, just like in the 2000 series if we had lost it would have taken everything from the previous 4 years away. I'm just saying we need to win this 3 game series. -
